Before Your Wedding.

Deciding on who will tell your wedding story is one of the more important decisions to make when planning your wedding. Besides choosing based on their style of work, what you’re doing is asking someone to be a part of your inner circle on what will be one of the biggest, most emotional days in your life together as a couple.

That’s why I personally handle every aspect of a commission, from initial inquiry and response to the delivery of the finished set of photographs. Every step has been refined over two decades of photographing weddings representing a wide range of cultures and traditions.

My work style on the wedding day is relaxed and simple. No fuss. No distractions. No big production, just me and a couple of cameras. My method of photographing is the same each time; put people at ease, capture intimate and candid photos of them enjoying themselves.

Booking me is just as straight forward. After our consultation, you’ll receive a tailored proposal and a contract to review and approve online. My policy is “first to sign” as I often get multiple inquiries for the same weekend.

After The Wedding.

The day after your wedding, you’ll receive an email from me with a dozen or so of the best images from the day so you can share with friends and family as you wish. Consider these as a little teaser until the final set of photographs are completed.

The creative process begins the day after your wedding with the editing process; the selection, culling, and sequencing of images into a visual timeline that shows the story of your day and takes about 3-4 weeks to deliver the final gallery to you.

Post production techniques such as colour grading, monochrome conversions, cropping and retouching then takes place on the select images that will be sent to you in the big reveal.

When the gallery is ready— the presentation begins with something tangible. You’ll receive a set of prints, shipped to your home, that will match the online gallery that will be sent to you shortly after you receive the prints. I am a firm believer in the tactile experience of holding our images in our hands over simply scrolling on a phone.

It just feels better.

The online gallery will be private, but shareable with those you wish to share it with. You’ll be able to view, share, order prints and this is where you will download the high resolution print ready images for your own storage.

This reveal is part of every wedding I photograph.

Photography Commissions.

Photography rates range in price, starting at about $6,000 and can go up depending on several factors. After we talk, I’ll send you a personalized proposal outlining the services, deliverables and a price for you to review.
