Hi there, I’m Andreas, a documentary and portrait photographer for couples planning intimate weddings. For over two decades I’ve balanced a life as a husband, father to three children, and photographer to families here in Canada and abroad.
My method of working is quite personal yet very relaxed — an approach based on observing human nature and capturing those real human moments as they take place on their own, without directing or intruding.
I bring my life’s experiences and perspectives to the work I create for others, finding my inspiration in the way we interact with our closest of friends, siblings and parents on this one day spent together.
My role as a photographer is to bear witness and document the ways that we come together to celebrate this one moment of joy and celebration.

For Intimate single venue weddings, I charge a flat rate of $5,000 plus expenses (prints, albums, travel expenses)
When inquiring, let me know as much as you can about your plans and I can provide you with a quote including taxes.

Start be sending your event info by falling out the enquiry form, emailing or calling / texting me to see if your date is still available.
If it is, a phone or video call will be scheduled to get to know one another.
A 50% retainer and signed agreement will secure your date, with the remaining balance due five days before the wedding date.

Most of the events I photograph are private family celebrations such as intimate weddings, anniversaries, engagement or birthday parties.
I also do some work for companies looking to tell the story of their work, their people and culture through documentary style imagery.

Once the photographs have been edited, they will be uploaded to a private website that you’ll have access to view, share as you wish, order prints, and download the high resolution images from.

When it comes to choosing who will document your day, you have an almost endless supply of options, and that’s not lost on me.
I’ve been doing this a long time, and what I bring to each wedding is unique to who I am. The work I create is shaped by my perspective and life experiences, not only as a photographer, but as someone who has been married for over 20 years and is a father of three.
I’m at an age where I can relate to both the couple getting married and the parents who see the wedding day as the closing of another chapter in their lives. That perspective influences what I pay attention to when capturing someone’s wedding day.
My approach is deliberately non-cheesy. I see myself simply as a photographer interested in documenting the human experience of a wedding day, rather than as a wedding photographer in that trendy and stereotypical way.
The couples who end up inviting me into their lives come from all walks of life and represent a wide range of cultures and traditions, and despite their differences, they all share a desire to simply be able to enjoy the day without the stress and fuss often associated with being photographed all day long.
